Long Description: Locations of all lakes in Colorado. Features in this dataset represent areal bodies of water, such as lakes, reservoirs, and wide rivers. To form a full set of hydrography for the state of Colorado, please combine this polygonal data with the linear geographic dataset named Colorado Streams. The data is best suited for cartography, and not geographic analysis. Contains the area and perimeter geometry, as well as the name (where available).
